You have to accept that maybe this isn't an elevator. Maybe this is a time machine. Once you've accepted that fact, you have to come to a conclusion on whether or not you are going forwards or backwards through time.
wow, this reminds me of Dir en Grey's Cage pv. The style is great and the background suits it so well. I especially like the claw-like hands. I hope you go through more dry spells if you churn out stuff like this.

This is... astounding. Even that word doesn't sum up this piece.
The pose is fantastic -- I really love the fingers on (her) right hand. The shading and simplistic colour scheme make it eyecatching and kinda creepy, but I bet that's the impression you were going for.
The splotches of ink and colour in the background was a nice touch.
Overall, I love it.
i love your style, and completely done traditonally. not enough of that here. colors are perfect, the fact that you allowed the paints to partly control your result is awesome...
and my critique:
the balance youve created with your strong verticals, and almost completely symmetrical chick is a bit skewed with that heavy border on the left & top, maybe you could drip some more crimson/black acrylic/watercolor/blood/whateverelseyouused over there.
its a great illustration though. might have to start watching you.

That semi-border looks really hot. You captured a great expression on her face.
