This is the best photograph I have ever taken. A fish market in Chinatown, New York City. Not even cropped; zero photoshop work besides border/resize. I think what makes the composition work so well is the red on the left, and the way it reflects off the fish's belly.
One more thing: the mouth of this fish reminds me of the mouth of the gollum/smeagol character in The Two Towers |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
